My name is Lindsey Prima Gaubert. I am the 2023-24 Sponsorship Chairperson for the Independence Sicilian Heritage Festival.

We are excited to bring our sponsorship offerings to you this year! The sponsorship committee has worked diligently to tailor offerings that maximize your advertising dollars & increase public exposure in return for your generous support.

This year’s festival, celebrating our 16th anniversary, will be held March 8th-10th, 2024 on the streets of downtown Independence, Louisiana. We expect it to be the biggest and best yet with typical crowds ranging between 15,000-20,000 people throughout the weekend. The festival has a great reputation for having a good time with great entertainment, cold drinks, amazing food, as well as carnival rides and games. We invest quite a bit in advertising that includes television, radio, social media and the Internet. These efforts result in thousands of hits to our website and attract patrons from as far away as Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, Canada, Sicily and beyond! We Have over ten thousand Facebook followers!

Independence is a beautiful old railroad town in the heart of Tangipahoa Parish that has been celebrating our Sicilian-Italian heritage through an annual festival for 50 years. Our festival provides a fabulous fund-raising outlet for the area’s non-profit organizations, including private & public schools’ groups. Our festival also creates an important economic impact & helps to raise awareness for the many businesses across the Parish and State.
